Since I am involved in illustrating children's books on a daily basis, drawing pictures on children's clothes was a pleasant change. I like to draw details, and I tried to add some special features to each character, be it a small pocket, a necklace, different colored eyes or some other detail. Coming up with the images was an enjoyable process where I researched different dog breeds and tried to create my own little micro world for each character.

I didn't have a specific age group or gender in mind when I drew these pictures. If you like the image, it can be worn by anyone, from babies to grandparents. I tried to create bright and positive characters.

I think it's really great when you see pictures on the shirts that are created by book illustrators. Maybe one of the characters on the shirt will one day find its place in some awesome children's book, you know.
